Gerald Ford has quite a legacy. That is...a legacy of lies and also his associations with some of the most evil men in United States history. The damage this man has done to the United States is incalculable.
Ford helped promote the biggest lie of the Warren Report by his actions.

That is the single bullet theory, a ridiculous claim that people like Vincent Bugliosi think is plausible. Really? It's not plausible at all, unless Ford made the deceitful changes he did to the report. Ford's lie made it possible to place the blame on Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald did not shoot John Fitzgerald Kennedy on 11/22/1963, but he became a patsy, instead of the hero he actually was.
But Ford wasn't done yet.
Go forward to Watergate. Richard Nixon has to resign as President because of that sordid affair. That makes Gerald Ford the new President.
Okay, after Ford becomes President, he pardons Nixon and also makes Poppy Bush the new CIA Director. Why? First, he didn't want any more investigations about the Watergate situation. Because all roads led to Dealey Plaza.
Also, the HSCA was investigating the JFK and MLK assassinations. Poppy stops any and all cooperation of the CIA to the HSCA. In this same time frame, key witnesses are being murdered. Witnesses like Roger Craig, Sam Giancana, Johnny Roselli, Chuck Nicoletti and George DeMohrenshildt (Nicoletti and DeMohrenshildt were killed on the same day).
In addition, Ford brings in Dick Cheney as his Chief of Staff and Donald Rumsfeld as his Secretary of Defense.
It all comes full circle when the Supreme Court (led by Scalia and Thomas) coronated W Bush as President, as Cheney and Rumsfeld helped bring us the events of 9/11 and wars in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
Poppy Bush had this to say about Ford at his funeral a few years back, "After a deluded gunman assassinated President Kennedy, our nation turned to Gerald Ford and a select handful of others to make sense of that madness," said Bush. "And the conspiracy theorists can say what they will, but the Warren Commission report will always have the final definitive say on this tragic matter. Why? Because Jerry Ford put his name on it and Jerry Ford’s word was always good." Poppy said that while he smirked and smiled.
Hopefully, the people who continue to search for the truth about the JFK assassination will have the last laugh.
