Lee Harvey Oswald: Convenient Lies and Cover-Ups Continue

This article provides useful information about the framing of Lee Harvey Oswald, accused assassin of President John F. Kennedy, and why a cover-up took place.

The Cover-Up Continues

What does the ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA and WIKIPEDIA have in common? They have become the judge and jury of Lee Harvey Oswald, labeling Oswald "assassin" rather than "accused assassin."

Let's get one thing straight: IF a government disposes of its leader through assassination, and THAT government then conducts an investigation, the investigation will be dishonest.

Did you know that the new President, Lyndon Johnson, is known to have escaped a possible prison term by becoming President?  View the facts HERE:

Here are a few photos to further remind you of the kind, gentle new President:

And famously, LBJ's interaction with the winking Albert Thomas, a grieving Jackie Kennedy almost insensate at LBJ's side:

When President John F. Kennedy was assassinated, an investigation was immediately conducted by the FBI.  However, the Director of the FBI, John Edgar Hoover, who despised JFK and his brother Bobby, had declared that Lee Harvey Oswald was the ONLY suspect and the ONLY person involved in the assassination THE SAME DAY Kennedy was killed.  Here's Hoover's memo to that effect, written to his agents in Dallas who wanted to look into any other possibilities:

"Not necessary to cover as true subject located" -- signed Jn (John) H (Hoover).
The memo was signed before any evidence had reached FBI laboratories. What power Hoover had! With this single memo, all efforts to locate any other suspects ceased.

Hoover received his reward:  Lyndon Johnson made J. Edgar Hoover Director for Life, whereas Kennedy would have forced Hoover to retire at age 70.  Today, in the face of Hoover's overwhelming power, FBI Directors are limited to ten year terms.

Consider that the HSCA (a government-funded House Committee) declared, in its findings, that a conspiracy existed, though they still blamed Oswald as JFK's assassin.  But the HSCA was winding down and failed to look into that matter deeper. Nor did they castigate Hoover for his swift and outrageous shutdown of any investigation as to any other suspects.

Now, if a government kills its leader, that government will not be expected to conduct a fair investigation into the killing.  That's common sense.

The American people were immediately shown photos of Johnson being sworn in, legitimizing Johnson as the new President in  their eyes.  The stunned people knew that Lyndon B. Johnson, the new President, was the one who appointed the members of the Warren Commission, but they meekly accepted the lie that Johnson was SORRY that the event happened.  Look at this film and decide for yourself if the new President is really grief-stricken over the sudden violent, barbaric execution of his predecessor. LBJ had just 58 words to say, when he took over the country:

LBJ's Warren Commission was composed of Johnson's most trusted Congressional cronies and those with special interests in making sure the truth would never surface, such as Allen Dulles, described by Wikipedia thus, in its opening words:

Allen Welsh Dulles (April 7, 1893 – January 29, 1969) was an American diplomat, lawyer, banker, and public official..."

The next sentence in the article tells readers that Dulles was " the longest-serving (1953–1961) Director of Central Intelligence (de facto head of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency)..."

And guess who ended Dulles' career?

KENNEDY.

Yet here he is, the former head of the CIA

, appointed by Lyndon Johnson to 'investigate'

the assassination, with the express purpose of

verifying the FBI report conducted by Hoover

that was made within mere days of the

 assassination.  Wikipedia tells us:

"Although Dulles' involvement in

the Bay of Pigs endeavor gained

him enough ill repute to be fired

 from the CIA during Kennedy's

 administration, he didn't let this

 stifle his ambition. Somehow he

 found himself reinstated and was

allowed to serve on the commission

to investigate the murder of the

 very man who fired him."

(REF: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allen_Welsh_Dulles  accessed Jan. 4, 2013)

"Somehow" indeed! Who was better suited to

make certain that nobody connected with

Dulles' precious CIA would be linked to the

 assassination?

I have written elsewhere of the other members of

 the Warren Commission, what compromised

them, and how several of the more neutral

members were unhappy with the conclusions

 made by the Commission.

They should have been.

Here's a list of errors made by the Warren

Commission, as compiled by researcher Martin

Shackelford, a conservative researcher who, for

example, doesn't believe the Zapruder film was

 altered.    He writes:

Warren Commission Errors by Martin Shackelford (9-22-99)
At Work:

1. No staff of investigators; near-total dependence on information
gathered by others, while claiming to conduct "an independent
investigation." In its "Forward to the Report," it openly boasts that it
had the power to grant immunity, but never used it.
2. Too much emphasis on getting it over with, at the expense of leads
which even their own staff thought important, while claiming to conduct
a "thorough" investigation.
3. The decision not to request access to the autopsy photos and X-rays,
much less not to request evaluation by qualified forensic pathologists.
4. The decision not to question Jack Ruby away from Dallas.
5. The decision to assume Oswald's guilt at the outset, and the
adversarial attitude toward witnesses who didn't assume it.
6. The failure to aggressively pursue records held by less cooperative
agencies, like the military, the CIA, etc.
7. The decision not to make its evidence files available for study by
scholars, and instead to seal them until 2039, and the small printing
(5000) of the volumes of evidence that were released, with no allowance
for a second printing based on demand.
The Report:
The Narrative: How the Commission Wanted You to Look at the Evidence
1. Secret Service agent Clint Hill didn't push Mrs. Kennedy back into
the rear seat; she was returning to the seat before he reached her. (after she reached
a piece of her husband's head that went to the rear of the limo.)

2. Although they precisely indicated the location of the wound in the
front of the neck, all they said about the head wound was that it was "extensive,"
thus evading the Parkland doctors, reports that it was in the rear of
the head.

3. In a misleading statement, the body reportedly "was given a complete
pathological examination." From the standpoint of forensic pathology,
this is utterly false. Even from the standpoint of hospital pathology,
it is questionable.

4. It implies that the head wound described in the autopsy report
matches the descriptions from Parkland, when in fact it didn't even match most of
the descriptions by Bethesda personnel.

5. It ascribes accounts of shots from locations other than the Texas
School Book Depository to "evident confusion at the outset," and suggests that
the actual sole source, the Depository, was identified "within minutes." The
House Select Committee on Assassinations found witnesses and evidence
that supported a shot from the grassy knoll"some of them known to the
Warren Commission, but disregarded or subjected to hostile questioning.

6. "Several eyewitnesses," it said, reported a rifle being fired from
the Sixth Floor window. In fact, only one, Howard Brennan, reported seeing it
fire.

7. They report the suspect description broadcast by Dallas Police was
"based primarily on Brennan's observations," though it included details
Brennan could not have known.

8. They give Oswald extra time to get down the stairs, saying "Not more
than 2 minutes had elapsed since the shooting" when Officer Baker and
TSBD supervisor Roy Truly dashed up the stairs. In fact, no more than a
minute and a half, and possibly less, had elapsed by the time Officer
Baker confronted Oswald in the second floor lunchroom. This kind of
shading of facts in the direction of a conclusion resembles a
prosecutor,s brief more than the objective analysis claimed by the
Commission.

9. "On the bus was Mrs. Mary Bledsoe, one of Oswald's former landladies,
who immediately recognized him." They fail to note that she reported the
elbow of his shirt was "torn out," which wasn't accurate, and the bus
driver later suggested the passenger may not have been Oswald, but a
young man who was a regular on that run of the bus, Milton Jones.

10. They noted that Oswald took a cab, but omit that he offered it to a
woman who arrived after he did, as the narrative is slanted to suggest
Oswald was in a big hurry.

11. The narrative has Oswald talking with Officer Tippit through a car
window that was rolled up, not down.

12. Reporting that Domingo Benavides called the shooting in at 1:16,
they imply that this was done almost immediately, which wasn't the case.
The shooting could have occurred as early as 1:10, but that didn't leave
enough time for Oswald to get there from his rooming house.

13. Neutrally, we are told "The assailant ran into the lot, discarded
his jacket and then continued his flight west on Jefferson," but not
that no one had any success connecting the discarded jacket to Oswald.

14. In describing Oswald's teenage years, no mention is made of the fact
that his family was deeply enmeshed in the Marcello crime organization;
his uncle worked for Marcello, and his mother dated Marcello employees.
An odd man with Mob and intelligence connections, David Ferrie, headed
the unofficial Civil Air Patrol unit that Oswald joined. The "loner"
also belonged to an Astronomy Club.

15. The second description of Oswald as a "loner" comes in the summary
of his Marine career. Anyone who believes that should read his friend
Kerry Thornley's novel based on their time in the Marines, "The Idle
Warriors," or read the accounts of his Marine buddy Nelson Delgado. The
Commission account is fiction by selection.

16. He spent time overseas, we are told, "most of it in Japan." That's
all we learn about that unusual period, where he frequented the Queen
Bee, an expensive nightclub out of the price range of a simple Marine.
Also avoided is any mention of the Atsugi base at which he was
stationed, a center of both U-2 and MKULTRA CIA operations.

17. The Commission implies that Oswald could shoot well, and explains
his low rifle test scores as an indication that he wasn't interested in
them.

18. The highly unusual circumstances of his discharge are glossed over.
He was released to care for his mother, on whom several boxes had fallen
at work months before. It's true that she was injured, and had a
difficult time for a while, but she was doing better by the time he was
discharged, and he only spent three days with her before leaving for
Russia.

19. The Commission mentions the odd fact that Oswald applied for a
passport, saying he intended to go to Russia, before he left the
Marines. What is not said is that his superior officer. Lt. Ayers, was
aware of this, as he signed a form which included that intended
destination.

20. There is mention that he entered the Soviet Union via Finland, but
not that he somehow knew that Helsinki was the easiest entry point.

21. There is no mention that he told the U.S. embassy he intended to
give the Russians information he had learned in the Marines. Perhaps
this made it easier for them in not having to explain why the State
Department later loaned him money for his return.

22. His time in Russia is also quickly skipped over, thus no mention of
the circle of friends "the loner" developed there. His wife seems to
come out of nowhere.

23. In it's rush to emphasize the Dallas Russian-speaking community,s
dislike for Oswald, the Commission completely omits any mention of
George DeMohrenschildt, a worldly sophisticate who is often described as
"Oswald's best friend."

24. The Commission flatly states that Oswald tried to kill General Edwin
Walker, despite the fact that the bullet recovered from the scene was
not compatible with his rifle. It only "became compatible" after the
assassination, when it turned out to be a different kind of bullet than
Dallas Police had reported it to be in April.

25. We learn that Oswald returned to New Orleans,
  • but not that he returned to the milieu of the Marcello crime family.
  • We are also not told of the many employees of right-wing private detective Guy Banister
who remember Oswald as another Banister "employee"
  • or the students at Lousiana State University who recall seeing Banister and Oswald visiting
    the campus together,
  • or the editor of a CIA-supported newsletter on Central America
who reported seeing them on the street, and in Mancuso's
Restaurant (in the same building as Banister,s office. David Ferrie
    also worked with Banister.

26. We're told that he visited the Mexico City embassies of Cuba and the
Soviet Union,
  • but not that someone continued to pretend to be him after he left, in a call
    to one embassy.
  • One of the rumors the Commission doesn't debunk (or mention) is the
possible affair Oswald had with the Cuban embassy's Mexican secretary,
though in this case they had the documents reporting it. Not the sort of
thing a loner would do, apparently.

27. In mentioning that Oswald rented a room from Mary Bledsoe briefly,
it restates (again probably incorrectly) that she saw him on the bus after
the assassination.

28. Although the summary said Ruth Paine phoned the Texas School Book
Depository about a job for Oswald "at the suggestion of a neighbor," but
the neighbor had told her she didn't think they were hiring.

29. The Commission implies that Oswald had not visited his wife at the
Paine home on a Thursday, prior to November 21, but in fact this was his
second Thursday visit in the relatively short time he had been back in
Dallas.

30. The Commission says Oswald left "his wallet" with $170 for his wife
the morning of the assassination, but it wasn,t his wallet. He had put
money into HER wallet. His wallet was in his pocket at the time of his
arrest (a detail the narrative omits, presumably to avoid contradicting
itself). The falsehood adds to the picture of finality the Commission
seeks to paint. The reality is much less clearcut.

31. The Commission's Oswald placed "a long, bulky package" in the rear
of Buell Wesley Frazier's car, but neither Frazier nor his sister, who
also saw it, described it as long enough to carry even the disassembled
rifle, and it seemed light enough that Frazier, who had worked in a
department store, believed Oswald's statement that the package contained
curtain rods.

32. The Commission says Frazier saw Oswald carry the package into the
Depository, but that's not true. The only employee who actually saw
Oswald enter the building, Jack Dougherty, said Oswald wasn,' carrying
anything.

33. The Commission says that "positive firearm identification evidence
was not available at the time," failing to add that there was never a
ballistics match made between Oswald's pistol and the bullets fired at
Officer Tippit. Lamely, they report that the pistol was of a type that
could have fired the bullets.

34. Of details given the press by the Dallas Police, the Commission
dismissively stated: "Some of the information divulged was erroneous."
The same could be said of the Commission.

35. Jack Ruby, we learn, was in the crowd of newsmen shouting questions
at Oswald that Friday night. We aren't told that he knew more about
Oswald's political activities than did District Attorney Henry Wade, at
whom he shouted a correction. Of course, Ruby probably spent more time
in New Orleans than Wade, and he got his strippers from the Marcello
circuit there. Maybe he didn't need to rely on the news media for
information about Oswald.

36. We are told that numerous threats against Oswald were called in to
police. We aren't told that Officer Billy Grammar, who took one of the
calls, identified the caller as a familiar voice, Jack Ruby. He stalks
Oswald, he makes a phone threat, and then, on a "sudden impulse," he
shoots Oswald. What a coincidence!
The Conclusions: What The Narrative Was Preparing You to Believe
1. We hear again that "witnesses" saw a rifle being fired from the TSBD
window.
2. We're told that a bullet matching Oswald,s rifle was found at
Parkland Hospital on Governor Connally,s stretcher, but it was in fact
found on the stretcher of an injured little boy, Ronald Fuller,
according to the man who found it.
3. We have here the false claim that the Single Bullet Theory "is not
necessary to any essential findings of the Commission," though without
it a lone assassin would be impossible.
4. Though no one saw the Mannlicher-Carcano in Oswald,s possession
after he left New Orleans, the Commission informs us that it was "was
owned by and in the possession of Oswald" on the day of the
assassination. Producing evidence of this is apparently also "not
necessary to any essential findings."
5. Also on no evidence, we are told that "Oswald carried this rifle
into the Depository Building on the morning of November 22, 1963."
6. And we have only the word of Howard Brennan that "Oswald, at the
time of the assassination, was present at the window from which the
shots were fired."
7. We are told that "the improvised paper bag in which Oswald brought
the rifle to the Depository was found close by the window from which the
shots were fired." How unfortunate that none of the witnesses who saw
the bag Oswald actually carried recognized the bag reportedly found on
the Sixth Floor.
8. The claim that Oswald attempted to kill General Walker is here
repeated.
9. Oswald is convicted as Tippit,s killer, partly based on a match
between cartridge cases in evidence and Oswald's pistol, but the Officer
to whom the cases found at the scene had been given was unable to find
his initials in the cases matched to Oswald's pistol. Damningly, we are
told that Oswald owned the pistol that was found in his possession
(duh!). Then we,re again told the falsehood that "Oswald's jacket" was
found abandoned.
10. We are told that Oswald was given the opportunity to obtain
counsel. We aren't told that he asked for an ACLU attorney, and the
Dallas Police turned away an ACLU attorney, telling him that Oswald
didn,t want his assistance.
11. Oswald's opportunities to speak directly to the press in the
hallway of the Dallas Police Department are described as "harassment"
that shouldn,t have been permitted, as it failed to protect his rights
to an "orderly interrogation."
12. The Commission found no evidence of a conspiracy, because it
couldn't tie Oswald or Ruby to one or to each other, it said.
13. The Commission couldn,' figure out a motive for killing the
President, either, so it offered a list of possible "contributing
factors."
14. One of these is "His inability to enter into meaningful
relationships with people." At the time, people who had known Oswald
well were living in fear that they would be accused of being
accomplices. As time went on, we,ve learned about more of these
"meaningful relationships" he supposedly didn,t have.
15. The Walker shooting, now taken for granted as an Oswald act, is
used to show his "capacity for violence."
16. Apparently the Commission's finding "that the FBI took an unduly
restrictive view of its role in preventive intelligence work prior to
the assassination" is another way of saying the FBI failed to pass on
reports of Mob threats against Kennedy to the Secret Service" oops, the
FBI didn,t tell the Commission about them, either. They didn't really
come out until the late 1970s.
What we find is that the Commission's presentation of evidence was no more objective than the much criticized Oliver Stone film "JFK," but in a different direction. The narrative is slanted to support the conclusions, and the conclusions often rely on errors made in the narrative, and on statements for which there is no evidence, or evidence pointing in a different direction.

"I do not want to die. But I am not insane. I was framed to kill Oswald."
(to psychiatrist Werner Teuter, quoted in London Sunday Times, August
25, 1974)....

So when you read -- in the Britannica and in  Wikipedia-- that Lee Harvey Oswald was found to be the "Lone assassin" by three (sometimes they say four) government investigations, remember this one fact: WHAT ELSE COULD A GOVERNMENT, WHO TOOK OVER POWER BY KILLING ITS OWN LEADER, TELL THE PEOPLE?

The American Dream died with Kennedy on November 22, 1963.

Since then, America has become a nation that wages war across the globe.
never intending to actually win any of these wars, because they are not based on principles, but on obtaining money for the military-industrial complex.

When Congress votes to continue raising military spending, while cutting back essential government services for you, the American citizen, just remember it is YOU who have blindly accepted the 'fact' that Oswald killed Kennedy, when, in fact, Lee Harvey Oswald was framed for a murder for which our own government was ultimately responsible.

The government that pillaged Social Security and put every American into debt framed Oswald.

The government that conducted WAR ON CANCER, WAR ON DRUGS and WAR ON POVERTY made everything worse.  But WAR is their motif.

The government that lied about THE GULF OF TONKIN was led by Lyndon Johnson.

The government that brought you WATERGATE and forced the resignation of "tricky Dick" Nixon was handed to Nixon by Lyndon Johnson.

And Nixon gave us Gerald Ford--an appointed Vice President (because Nixon's Vice President, Spiro Agnew, was forced to resign due to his corruption!). teach your children that our government was taken over from within, and those who helped frame Oswald got their rewards: GERALD FORD, NEVER ELECTED AS VICE PRESIDENT, TOOK OVER THE PRESIDENCY FROM NIXON. Ford was a member of The Warren Commission.

Ford was the first and only President and vice President who was never elected to either position by the people.  Ford also later admitted that as a member of the Warren Commission, he altered evidence in the JFK murder case. What did he do?  FORD DELIBERATELY MOVED THE BULLET HOLE LOCATION IN KENNEDY'S BACK UP TO THE NECK TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TO BELIEVE THE 'MAGIC BULLET' USED TO FRAME LEE OSWALD COULD HAVE EXITED THE NECK.

Amazingly, Wikipedia, which helps continue the cover-up with its editors, who immediately remove all corrections made in oswald's defense, says this about the moved bullet hole:

Read the truth HERE (with emphasis in bold face added):

"The signed autopsy sheet, including the placement and description of the back wound, was verified by Admiral George Gregory Burkley, personal physician to the president who directed the autopsy at Bathesda.
Burkley filled out and signed John F. Kennedy's official death certificate on November 23rd, 1963. He verified the location of the back wound and signed the Kennedy autopsy sheet at Bethesda on November 24th. That death certificate revealed the back wound to be, in the Admiral's own words, at the president's "third thoracic vertebra."The neck has seven CERVICAL vertebrae, and this observed and verified wound was described as three THORACIC vertebrae lower than the neck itself. A wound in the back, exactly where the official autopsy sheet and the coat and shirt placed it. Warren Commissioner Gerald Ford was one of the key people responsible for misleading the U.S. public about the facts of the JFK assassination. The single bullet theory and the lone assassin fiction are only possible if we believe Gerald Ford's terrible fiction."

Here's the location of the third thoracic vertebra:

It has been well-established that no bullet could have penetrated all the bony protuberances involved with the vertebrae in either back OR neck and yet emerge from the throat, as falsely claimed by the Warren Commission, to then hit John Connally and smash his rib, bones in his wrist, and leave a piece of bullet in his thigh, all the while emerging relatively pristine and unscathed.

The "Magic Bullet"

Mark Lane says:

We knew that Dr. Shaw, who is the physician who attended Governor Connally. The bullet was, of course, found about 2 o'clock in the afternoon, by Darrell Tomlinson, an engineer at the Parkland Hospital. But two and a half hours after that bullet was found, Dr Shaw was on television and he emerged from the operating room to say that the Governor was in rather good shape, that he's not in critical shape. He'll be all right. Described his wounds, and then concluded by saying that the bullet which did all of the damage is still in Governor Connally's left thigh. It is still there now; he has not yet removed it.

Yet the Commission would have us believe that the bullet which was found two and a half hours prior to this time was, in fact, the bullet which did the damage."

The Magic Bullet is a fairytale, and Gerald Ford told it to the American people.
But how else could the innocent Oswald be framed?  (Well, many other lies were also created.)
Overwhelming forensic evidence today proves that Kennedy's neck wound came from the front, but common sense can show anyone that this wound is in the BACK, not the NECK (the neck is to the left)

The Cabell Matter

CIA career photos of Cabell

General Charles Cabell, also CIA, was fired by Kennedy over the Bay of Pigs fiasco, as was Allen Dulles.  Charles Cabell's career was thus destroyed by JFK. On November 22, 1963, Kennedy was murdered in Dallas, where Charles Cabell's brother, Earle, was Mayor.  As a former long-time resident of Texas, including Dallas, I found it sinister, indeed, that Jackie Kennedy was handed RED ROSES in a state where THE YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS is the usual bouquet, symbolizing the state's independence and its celebration of courageous womanhood. Jackie herself wondered that she was given red roses:

Everytime we got off the plane that day, three times they gave me the yellow roses of Texas. But in Dallas they gave me red roses. I thought how funny, red roses— so all the seat was full of blood and red roses."
- Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis

Jackie received red roses from Mrs. Earle Cabell:

Mrs. Lyndon Johnson, the soon-to-become First Lady, was the FIRST one honored with roses in  Dallas, in a betrayal of protocol.  The future First Lady was given a bouquet of yellow roses BEFORE Jackie Kennedy, who would be the outgoing First Lady, was given her bouquet of RED roses by Mrs. Earle Cabell. Think about that.

Due to threats, I must live overseas in remote areas.  I made a recent, quick tour of several states this past December, and was pleased to receive personal support from Jesse Ventura, Robert Groden, and others who are experts in the Kennedy assassination research community:

THE MAN WHO SAW THE TRUTH ALTERED: ROY SCHAEFFER

A GOOD MARINE WHO LEARNED THE STUNNING TRUTH

Roy Schaeffer

Roy Schaeffer served in the Marine Corps during the Eisenhower and Kennedy administrations (1960-1962). After graduating from Aviation Electronics School in San Diego , he was assigned the same job Lee Harvey Oswald had previously done at El Toro AFB.

He was working for the Dayton Daily News (DDN) the weekend of the Kennedy assassination. On the morning after JFK was assassinated, Schaeffer was asked to retrieve two wire photos for the Sunday Edition of the DDN. Seeing those photos would one day start him on a journey investigating the Kennedy assassination, though before that time he had no reason to question the Warren Commission's findings.

Fourteen years later, Schaeffer saw the wire photos as they were published on that Sunday and knew both photos were altered before the paper went to press. After finding more possible film alterations, studying the Warren Commission's report and recognizing two Marines' names in official reports, Schaeffer knew he had some insights, that by pure chance, no one else had.

In 1986 he wrote Jim Garrison about an extra 8mm Zapruder film made during the Clay Shaw trial. About a year later he received a copy from Fay Turner, a detective who questioned Oswald shortly after his arrest. By studying the Zapruder film in great detail, Schaeffer was able to make a composite blink-rate chart by plotting the emergency blinking lights on the front grill of the Presidential limousine frame by frame. By examining the blinking-light pattern, he concluded that Zapruder's camera ran at a faster speed than 18 frames per second, thus providing film-tampering evidence. Schaeffer testified before the Assassination Records Review Board in Dallas in 1994.

Schaeffer co-authored a chapter entitled, "The Case for Zapruder Film Tampering" in Assassination Science, Experts Speak Out about the Death of JFK with Mike Pincher, Esq. and edited by James H. Fetzer. Schaeffer has been researching the Kennedy assassination for more than 30 years and is now placing his research material at the Poage Library.

WANT TO GET ARRESTED? SELL "OSWALD DIDN'T DO IT" BOOKS AT DEALEY PLAZA!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
RUTH PAINE IS AWARDED THE KEY TO THE CITY OF IRVING, JUNE, 2010: STORY BELOW

WANT TO GET ARRESTED? SELL "OSWALD DIDN'T DO IT" BOOKS AT DEALEY PLAZA!

THAT'S THE QUICK WAY TO MISERY.
OR WRITE A BOOK ABOUT OSWALD'S INNOCENCE WHILE LIVING IN DALLAS, AND LAND IN THE HOSPITAL A FEW TIMES, WHICH IS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME.

THERE WERE TWO TROUBLING EVENTS THAT OCCURRED THIS MONTH IN THE DALLAS AREA. THE FIRST WAS THE ARREST OF 'VENDORS' ON 'PRIVATE PROPERTY' --THAT 'PRIVATE PROPERTY' BEING DEALEY PLAZA, WHERE THOUSANDS CONGREGATE TO VIEW WHERE JOHN F. KENNEDY WAS MURDERED. OVERLOOKING THE PLACE WHERE IT HAPPENED, BESIDE THE OH-SO-UPON-IT GRASSY KNOLL, IS THE TEXAS SCHOOL BOOK DEPOSITORY BUILDING AND THE SIXTH FLOOR MUSEUM, WHERE FOR YOUR BURNISHED PENNIES AND HARD-EARNED CASH, YOU CAN HEAR THE OFFICIAL VERSION--THAT OSWALD DID IT.

IT'S THE ONLY VERSION THAT'S POLITICALLY CORRECT IN THE DALLAS AREA.

THAT'S DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE NOW KNOW THE BACK OF PRESIDENT KENNEDY'S HEAD WAS DELIBERATELY PAINTED IN BLACK TO HIDE A SHOT FROM THE FRONT IN THE FAMOUS ZAPRUDER FILM.
THAT'S DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE KNOW THE AUTOPSY PHOTOS WERE RIGGED TO TRY TO SHOW A SHOT FROM THE BACK (SEE DOUG HORNE'S INSIDE THE ARRB).
THAT'S DESPITE THE FACT THAT FORMER SECRET SERVICE AGENT FOR JFK, ABRAHAM BOLDEN, HAS TESTIFIED THAT AN INFORMANT NAMED "LEE" SAVED KENNEDY'S LIFE IN CHICAGO.
THAT'S DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE KNOW LEE OSWALD COULD NOT HAVE BEEN IN THE 'SNIPER'S NEST' ACCORDING TO SOLID WITNESS TESTIMONY.
THAT'S DESPITE THE FACT THAT THE "MAGIC BULLET" IS BASED ON MOVING A BULLET HOLE 'UPWARDS' BY GERALD FORD, WHO ADMITTED IT, SO THAT A TRAJECTORY COULD BE CREATED TO ALLOW FOR THE EXISTENCE OF SUCH A BULLET. A BULLET THAT HAS TOO MUCH NOT MISSING FROM IT TO ACCOUNT FOR PIECES OF BULLET LODGED IN BONES THAT CLEARLY SHOW UP IN X=RAYS OF GOV. JOHN CONNALLY'S WRIST.
A BULLET THAT LOOKS JUST LIKE BULLETS FIRED THROUGH COTTON--ALMOST PRISTINE, THOUGH IT SUPPOSEDLY SHATTERED A RIB AND WRIST BONES AFTER PASSING THROUGH KENNEDY'S BACK, AND THROAT AND OTHER PARTS OF CONNALLY'S BODY AS WELL.
A BULLET SHOT, SUPPOSEDLY, FROM A RIFLE IN SUCH POOR CONDITION THAT PEOPLE ARE AFRAID TO TEST FIRE IT TO THIS VERY DAY.
THESE FACTS, AND MANY MORE, SCREAM OUT THAT LEE HARVEY OSWALD, JUST AS HE SAID, DID NOT KILL JFK.

BUT IN JUNE, 2010 IN DALLAS, THE SAME OLD STORY IS STILL BEING REPEATED AS IF THESE WERE BEADS ON A ROSARY: THAT LEE OSWALD SHOT KENNEDY.
AND THE VERY WOMAN WHO SUPPLIED MUCH EVIDENCE IN THE CASE AGAINST OSWALD HAS JUST RECEIVED THE KEY TO THE CITY OF IRVING. YOU CAN READ THE ARTICLE BELOW, AFTER I FINISH RANTING A BIT ABOUT HER.
IT'S NOT WISE TO EXPRESS YOUR OPINION THAT OSWALD WAS INNOCENT IN A PLACE LIKE DALLAS, TEXAS, WHICH APPARENTLY WANTS TO KEEP ITS REPUTATION AS A CITY WHERE UNJUST SENTENCES HAVE BEEN METED OUT FOR MANY YEARS UPON THE HEADS OF INNOCENT VICTIMS.
THE DALLAS POLICE RECENTLY ARRESTED 'VENDORS' IN DEALEY PLAZA, STATING THAT THE CITY-OWNED PROPERTY IS PRIVATE PROPERTY. A STORY WAS FRONTED THAT SOME VENDORS ARE IN YOUR FACE AND SCARE PEOPLE. HUH? ANYBODY WHO'S BEEN TO DEALEY PLAZA KNOWS THAT A TROUBLEMAKER CAN BE PLANTED EASILY AMONG THOSE WHO ARE CONDUCTING TOURS, SELLING BOOKS, AND HAWKING SOUVENIRS.
GENERALLY SPEAKING, THE 'VENDORS' ARE LARGELY THERE TO EDUCATE VISITORS HUNGRY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THEIR GOOD SENSE TELLS THEM IS OBVIOUS: THAT GRASSY KNOLL IS SO CLOSE --THE BUILDING WHERE THE SNIPER'S NEST IS --IN COMPARISON--AS IF A MILE AWAY. STANDING THERE IN THE PLAZA, IT'S VERY HARD TO IGNORE THE GRASSY KNOLL.
BUT THE SIXTH FLOOR MUSEUM DOES A GREAT JOB OF SELLING THE STORY THAT ITS SNIPER'S NEST OCCUPANT WAS OSWALD --NOBODY ELSE -- EVEN THOUGH PHOtOS SHOW BOXES WERE MOVED TO CREATE THE SO-CALLED SNIPER'S NEST AFTER THE SHOTS WERE FIRED.
YOU WON'T SEE THOSE PHOTOS IN THE SIXTH FLOOR MUSEUM.
NOR ARE YOU ALLOWED TO ACUALLY PEER FROM THE NEST SITE, ITSELF. TO DO SO WOULD SHOW YOU HOW AWFULLY HARD SUCH A SERIES OF SHOTS WOULD HAVE BEEN TO MAKE. THE SNIPER'S NEST AREA IS CONVENIENTLY WALLED OFF WITH CLEAR PLASTIC. NOBODY CAN GET INTO POSITION WITH A RIFLE THERE, NOW, TO SEE IF THE RIFLE BUTT WOULD HIT THE WALL WHEN TURNED TO AIM AT JFK. WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CONTENT WITH PHOTOS SHOWING THE FBI USING A TEST RIFLE-- MOUNTED ON A TRIPOD, NO LESS.
WHAT NEXT?
WILL MONEY-HUNGRY DALLAS END UP CHARGING ADMISSION TO DEALEY PLAZA ITSELF -- THOUGH IT WAS THE VERY PUBLIC SITE OF OUR PRESIDENT'S EXECUTION?
WHY NOT?
THOUGH HE BELONGS TO THE AGES, AND TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, OUR SLAIN PRESIDENT IS CLEARLY REJECTED BY DALLAS, WHO NEVER ERECTED A DECENT MONUMENT TO OUR FALLEN LEADER. INSTEAD, WITH THE HELP OF SUCH CHARACTERS AS GARY MACK OF THE SIXTH FLOOR MUSEUM -- A MAN WHO USED TO SAY OSWALD DID NOT KILL JFK, BUT WHO NOW SAYS THAT IT'S LIKELY OSWALD DID THE JOB. HIS POCKETS COMFORTABLY BULGING WITH HIS HEFTY SALARY, GARY MACK NOW ADDS HIS VOICE TO THE MUSEUM'S AND THE ESTABLISHMENT IN HELPING TO DESTROIY KENNEDY'S REPUTATION.
AFTER ALL, WHO WILL CARE IF THEY ARE CONVINCED THAT KENNEDY WAS JUST ANOTHER CORRUPT CREEP IN THE WHITE HOUSE?
JFK'S MEMORY IS BEING SYSTEMATICALLY DESTROYED BY OUR SOLD-OUT MEDIA, WHICH CONCENTRATES ON JFK'S WOMANIZING AND PAINKILLER USE RATHER THAN ON HIS PROVEN COURAGE, HIS BATTLES WITH CONSTANT PAIN, AND A DEVOTION TO COUNRY THAT PROVED KENNEDY, TURNED ERSATZ PLAYBOY, CARED MORE ABOUT AMERICA THAN ABOUT HIS OWN LIFE--AS JAMES DOUGLASS MAKES ABUNDANTLY CLEAR IN HIS FINE BOOK, JFK AND THE UNSPEAKABLE--WHY HE DIED AND WHY IT MATTERS.
DALLAS MAKES A HEFTY BUNDLE ITSELF OFF THE SIXTH FLOOR MUSEUM.

YOU CAN PAY YOUR FEE FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF BEING SOLD THE OFFICIAL VERSION AT THE SIXTH FLOOR MUSEUM, WHICH PUSHES OSWALD-DID-IT TO ALL, WHILE SELLING BOOKS THAT ONLY REFLECT THE OFFICIAL VERSION.

THE MUSEUM WON'T SELL HORNE'S BOOKS THERE, THAT TELL YOU THE ARRB DISCOVERED THAT THE AUTOPSY PHOTOS HAD BEEN RIGGED TO TRY TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE KENNEDY HAD BEEN SHOT FROM BEHIND -- AND THAT THE ZAPRUDER FILM WAS ACTUALLY PAINTED OVER TO HIDE A SHOT FROM THE FRONT -- A DISCOVERY MADE BY SYDNEY WILKINSON'S HOLLYWOOD RESTORATION FILM EXPERTS ON A TRUE COPY OF THE ZAPRUDER FILM IN 2009.
THEY WILL NOT SELL THE BOOK ME & LEE THERE, EITHER. THEY WILL NOT SELL JIM MARRS' CROSSFIRE THERE.
THEY WILL NOT SELL HASLAM'S DR. MARY'S MONKEY THERE.
THEY WILL NOT SELL JAMES DOUGLASS' JFK AND THE UNSPEAKABLETHERE.
THEY WILL NOT SELL DR. JIM FETZER'S THE GREAT ZAPRUDER FILM HOAX THERE.

THEY WILL SELL YOU VINCE BUGLIOSI'S HUGE BOOK--WHEREIN BUGLIOSI TRASHES ME, THOUGH HE NEVER INTERVIEWED ME. HE COPIED HIS INFORMATION FROM OTHERS WHO NEVER MET ME. SO MUCH FOR BUGLIOSI'S RESEARCH METHODS.
THEY WILL SELL YOU GERALD POSNER'S BOOK, THOUGH POSNER'S BOOK HAS BEEN FOUND TO BE RIDDLED WITH ERRORS AND OMISSIONS.
MEANWHILE, ROBERT GRODEN, STANDING IN DEALEY PLAZA AS HE HAS FOR DECADES, WAS ARRESTED. WHY? BECAUSE HE WAS A 'VENDOR' SELLING ON 'PRIVATE PROPERTY.'
SOMEBODY NEEDS TO TELL DALLAS THAT DEALEY PLAZA BELONGS TO AMERICA AND AMERICANS.
SOMEBODY NEEDS TO REMIND THE DALLAS POLICE THAT THEY HELPED FRAME OSWALD. ANYBODY EVER WATCH 'DALLAS DNA'?
ATOP THAT DISTURBING AND PORTENTOUS ACT THIS JUNE BY THE DALLAS POLICE, IN THE SAME MONTH, WE SEE IN THE PAPERS AN OUTRIGHT STATEMENT FROM THE CITY OF IRVING (JUST INCHES FROM DALLAS)THAT LEE OSWALD TOOK A RIFLE FROM RUTH PAINE'S GARAGE AND THEN SHOT KENNEDY.
THE STORY WAS ABOUT RUTH PAINE RECEIVING A KEY TO THE CITY OF IRVING.
MY OPINION OF RUTH PAINE CAN FIT INSIDE THE DOT AT THE END OF THIS SENTENCE.
I BELIEVE THAT MARINA OSWALD WOULD AGREE WITH ME.
MOST OF THE DAMNING EVIDENCE AGAINST LEE OSWALD CAME FROM RUTH PAINE'S GARAGE OR FROM HER VERY MOUTH.
IT WAS NOT LEE OSWALD BUT RUTH PAINE WHO, BY HER OWN TESTIMONY, WAS LAST SEEN IN THE GARAGE THE NIGHT BEFORE JFK WAS SHOT. WHERE THE KILLER RIFLE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE LAIN ON THE SAWDUST-LITTERED FLOOR, WRAPPED IN A BLANKET, FOR TWO MONTHS.
A BLANKET THAT HAD NO SAWDUST ON IT WHEN PHOTOGRAPHED.
A NICE, CLEAN BLANKET.
LAUNDRY HAD BEEN DONE THAT NIGHT. THE BLANKET HAD BEEN DESCRIBED BY MARINA AS HER TODDLER JUNE'S FAVOPRITE BLANKET. WHAT WAS IT DOING, THEN, IN THE PAINE GARAGE, SUPPOSEDLY LYING ON THE DIRTY GARAGE FLOOR FOR TWO MONTHS? SUPPOSEDLY PUSHED ASIDE, STEPPED ON? SUPPOSEDLY HOLDING A RIFLE ALL THAT TIME, THOUGH WE HAVE OSWALD IMPOSTERS OUT THERE FIRING AT RIFLE RANGES. WITH WHAT RIFLES?
YET THAT NIGHT, OSWALD WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE SNEAKED IN AND PULLED OUT THE RIFLE AND WRAPPED IT UP IN PAPER -- THOUGH THE BUNDLE OBSERVED BY OTHERS THAT MORNING WAS WAY TOO SMALL TO HAVE HELD ANY RIFLE.
NEVERTHELESS, THE BLANKET WAS EMPTY WHEN POINTED OUT BY RUTH PAINE TO THE POLICE THE NEXT AFTERNOON. THAT NICE, CLEAN BLANKET THAT HAD BEEN JUNE'S FAVORIE BLANKET...SUPPOSEDLY IGNORED AND STEPPED ON FOR TWO MONTHS, I REPEAT.
OSWALD, SUPPOSEDLY FIRING OTHER RIFLES AT RIFLE RANGES FOR PRACTICE, DOESN'T USE 'OTHER RIFLES' FOR THE MURDER.
HE PULLS OUT A RIFLE THAT HASN'T BEEN FIRED FOR MONTHS -- A RIFLE MARINA OSWALD AT FIRST DENIED THAT HER HUSBAND OWNED -- A RIFLE THAT IS WELL-OILED BUT LEFT NO OIL INSIDE THE PAPER BAG THAT SUPPOSEDLY HELD IT -- AND, MOST TROUBLING OF ALL -- A RIFLE THAT HAD NO BLANKET FIBERS ON IT! THAT'S RIGHT. NO FIBERS FROM THE BLANKET CLUNG TO THE WELL-OILED RIFLE. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HAIRY WITH FIBERS.
WHAT A JOKE!
THOSE WHO BELIEVE THE OFFICIAL VERSION MUST HAVE DOUBLE-DIGIT IQ'S. THOSE WHO DEFEND IT HAVE TO FACE GOD SOMEDAY. PERHAPS THEY UNDERSTAND THAT THEY WILL NOT MEET OSWALD IN HELL AND THAT THEY WILL NOT, THEREFORE, HAVE TO APOLOGIZE TO HIM THERE.
RUTH PAINE SAID SHE WENT INTO THAT GARAGE WELL AFTER MIDNIGHT --AND FOUND THE LIGHT ON. SHE SAYS OSWALD MUST HAVE GONE IN THERE TO GET HIS RIFLE. THAT HE FORGOT TO TURN OFF THE LIGHT. NOT TOO BRIGHT, OSWALD...
BUT WAIT. MAYBE HE IS A BIT BRIGHT....FOR WHERE DID HE PUT THE RIFLE THAT NIGHT, THEN? WHEN DID HE WRAP IT? HE WAS LATE GETTING UP THE NEXT MORNING. VERY LATE. IN A HURRY.
HOW ODD, THOUGH, THAT RUTH PAINE DECIDED TO STAY UP LATE THAT NIGHT, AFTER SHE AND MARINA FINISHED FOLDING CLOHES THEY HAD WASHED AND DRIED...COULD ANY FAVORITE BLANKET OF JUNE'S HAD BEEN WASHED THAT NIGHT, AND THUS AVAILABLE?
AT ANY RATE, WITH A BLANKET IN HER ARMS OR NOT, RUTH PAINE WELL AFTER MIDNIGHT DECIDED TO GO PAINT BLOCKS IN THE GARAGE. AND SHE IS THUS ABLE TO TELL US THAT OSWALD HAD TO HAVE BEEN IN THAT GARAGE THAT NIGHT.
HOW VERY ODD, THEN, WHEN WE READ TESIMONY FROM BOTH RUTH PAINE AND MARINA OSWALD THAT SHOWS OSWALD HAD NO OPPORTUNITY TO ENTER THE GARAGE BEFORE HE WENT TO BED. HE WATCHED TELEVISION! MARINA SAYS SHE WAS AWAKE, AND SO WAS HE, THAT NIGHT, IN THEIR BEDROOM THERE. ONLY SHORTLY BEFORE DAWN DID OSWALD FINALLY FALL ASLEEP.
RUTH PAINE WAS THE KEY SUPPLIER OF DAMNING EVIDENCE AGAINST OSWALD.
HER HOME IS NOW GOING TO BECOME A MUSEUM. MORE FEES TO BE CHARGED...MORE INCOME FOR A CITY BLAMING OSWALD FOR KENNEDY'S MURDER...
RUTH PAINE, HAVING DONATED MATERIALS FOR THE NEW MINI-MUSEUM, THIS MONTH WAS GIVEN THE KEY TO THE CITY OF IRVING BY ITS MAYOR.
AT THE SAME TIME, ON SACRED GROUND THAT SHOULD BE FREE AND OPEN TO ALL AMERICANS, VENDORS ARE ARRESTED AT DEALEY PLAZA, AND CONCURRENTLY, LEE OSWALD IS DESCRIBED AS KENNEDY'S KILLER IN THE LOCAL NEWSPAPERS: A MUSEUM DIRECTOR AKIN TO GARY MACK WILL BE HIRED TO PUSH THE OSWALD-DID-IT MANTRA TO THE VISITORS --- FOR A PRICE, OF COURSE -- IN THE FACE OF A MOUNTAIN OF FACTS THAT TELL US OSWALD DIDN'T KILL KENNEDY.
TELL YOUR FRIENDS.
PLEASE.
AND TELL THEM ABOUT MY BOOK, ME & LEE.
THE MEDIA WON'T BE THERE TO TELL PEOPLE --IT'S ONLY THROUGH YOUR EFFORTS THAT THE BOOK WILL MAKE ITS POINTS.
IT WILL BE RELEASED AS SOON AS IT GETS PRINTED IN AUGUST. GREAT CARE HAS BEEN TAKEN TO VERIFY AND CHECK WHAT I WROTE IN THAT BOOK.
GREAT CARE HAS BEEN TAKEN, TOO, TO PERPETUATE A MYTH THAT HIDES THE TRUTH FROM THE AMERICAN PEOPLE--THAT THE COUNTRY WAS TAKEN OVER BY AN ILLEGITIMATE GOVERNMENT THAT HAD LED US INTO WARS AND ECONOMIC HARD TIMES. IT IS A LEGACY BASED ON CRIMINAL ACTS THAT HAVE GONE UNPUNISHED, WHILE THE TRUTH TELLERS THAT ARE STILL ALIVE GET ARRESTED OR ARE FORCED, AS AM I, INTO EXILE.
RUIH PAINE AND HER HUSBAND WERE CAUGHT IN A TAPED CONVERSATION SAYING THEY KNEW WHO WAS BEHIND THE ASSASSINATION, AND THAT IT WASN'T LEE OSWALD. BUT THERE'S MORE.

To find out more about the Paines, and why they might not be as wonderful as the media presents them, read
A Certain Arrogance: The Sacrificing of Lee Harvey Oswald and the Wartime Manipulation of Religious Groups by U.S. Intelligence by George Michael Evica. The curageous publishers at trine day have again come through with a fine book that should be on your "must read" list.

researcher Carol Hewett had remarks of importance to make at a Lancer Conference regarding the Paines:

"Another reason the Paines are important is that their home was one of two major sources of evidence seized against Oswald, the other being, of course, the Texas School Book Depository. Evidence implicating Oswald "simply oozed out of the Paine household, like a seeping wound," Hewett said, and included the Walker photos, the blanket that allegedly held the assassination weapon, the fake Hidell documents, the negative used to fake Hidell identification, and some, but not all, of the infamous "backyard" photos.

Two other important pieces of evidence seized from the Paine house on the assassination weekend were the Minox camera and the November 9 embassy letter, although their existence was not learned of until later."

John Kelin, who reported on the Lancer Conference where Hewett spoke, had more to share from her remarks about the Paines:

"Another reason the Paines are important is that their home was one of two major sources of evidence seized against Oswald, the other being, of course, the Texas School Book Depository. Evidence implicating Oswald "simply oozed out of the Paine household, like a seeping wound," Hewett said, and included the Walker photos, the blanket that allegedly held the assassination weapon, the fake Hidell documents, the negative used to fake Hidell identification, and some, but not all, of the infamous "backyard" photos.

Two other important pieces of evidence seized from the Paine house on the assassination weekend were the Minox camera and the November 9 embassy letter, although their existence was not learned of until later.

It is difficult for researchers to categorize the Paines, Hewett said. While there are plenty of suspicious circumstances surrounding them, what does it mean? Some plainly suggest a CIA connection, as with the evidence presented by Steve Jones. But, Hewett continued, "the facts surrounding the circumstances of these two items of evidence have led me to believe Ruth Paine may have had some FBI affiliation."

The question of the Minox camera is rather problematic. It was discovered among Oswald's possessions by the Dallas police. But according to research by John Armstrong, this camera and hundreds of other items were seized by the FBI on the evening November 22, 1963. By manipulating police records, it appears, knowledge of the camera's existence was suppressed.

By early 1964, word of the camera's existence began to leak out. "An article appeared in The Nation magazine, in January of 1964, highly critical of the FBI, and accusing the FBI of suppressing evidence," Hewett said. FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover ordered Dallas agents to find the camera. But, she said, "This was a camera they had all along in their possession."

FBI Agent Bardwell Odum contacted Ruth Paine, Hewett said, and asked her to "check into this matter. And Ruth calls Bardwell back, and says, 'Oh, yes, we have a Minox camera. I just called my husband at work and he reminded me that we have one, rusting away, in an old coffee can in the garage. We'll be happy to get it for you.'" Agent Odum soon showed up at the Paine's house and picked up a Minox camera.

According to Odum's report, Michael Paine said he offered the camera to the Dallas police, but they weren't interested in it. "This is a blatant lie," Hewett said. "This conversation --- this alleged conversation between Michael Paine and Bardwell Odum --- was recorded on a January 30, 1964 memo. We now have an internal memo dated January 25, 1964, generated by the highest officers and officials of the FBI, in which they acknowledge they had been in possession of the Minox camera all along. And in fact, they were comparing the film in that camera with some film in a New York City counter-espionage file."

It now appears, Hewett said, that there were two Minox cameras. Michael Paine said the camera he gave to Bardwell Odum was returned to him after the Warren Commission finished its work. It was later stolen, he said. But in 1978, a camera said to be the same one was presented to Marina Oswald for identification --- along with a second Minox camera. Mrs. Oswald could not identify either one.

One of those cameras is still in the National Archives, Hewett said, but the other one is missing. But she said it isn't known which camera it is because the serial number, printed on the inside of the camera, is not accessible. Hewett wrote the Archives asking about this, but "they wrote back claiming the camera was stuck shut." Informed of this, the ARRB expressed no interest in pursuing the matter. (See Reactions to the Board, in this issue, for more on the ARRB's lack of interest in the Paines.)

"The other thing that made me consider that perhaps Ruth and Michael were FBI informants was the November 9 embassy letter that Oswald wrote," Hewett said. There are actually three versions --- Oswald's handwritten version, a more polished typed version, and a third in Ruth Paine's hand, which she told the Warren Commission she copied from Oswald's typed version. This last version is missing from the National Archives collection, Hewett said.

The typewritten version has the initials of FBI agent James Hosty on it --- dated November 22, although the FBI did not officially assume jurisdiction in the case until November 26. Although Dallas police investigators were searching the Paine home for evidence against Oswald on November 22 and 23, and although Ruth was fully aware of this, Hewett said, "she is providing the FBI with critical documentation behind the backs of the Dallas police."

Ruth Paine may also have alerted the FBI that a postal notice to Oswald arrived at her home, directing them to the post office to pick up a package. "What we have here," Hewett summarized, "is Ruth furnishing the FBI with leads, while simultaneously vacating [her] house to let the Dallas police have access to whatever it is they can find."

As she neared the conclusion of her talk, Carol Hewett went over some facts which she felt demonstrated incongruitites in Ruth Paine's personality. "Ruth Paine is described by almost all of her friends in the northeast as a charitble individual. And yet, not once did anyone ever describe a single act of charity. There are no indications that she donated money, took in stray dogs, or that she'd ever taken in any other forlorn women and children. We have no specific acts --- the only act is her act of her taking in Marina Oswald.

"Repeatedly, throughout her own testimony and the testimony of all her friends, they said that her motive were so that she could learn the Russian language. Now, Ruth Paine studied the Russian language non-stop, from the mid-1950s. And in Dallas, she was studying it not only through the Berlitz school, but she had a personal tutor who was a native-speaking Russian, Dorothy Gravitis. And so what did she need Marina Oswald for?"

So it seems, Hewett said, like a phony excuse. "And the phoniness carries over towards Ruth's care of Marina, in both the spring of '63 and the fall of '63. Ruth is very indignant when she testifies that Oswald would not permit Marina to speak English. Yet at no time did Ruth and Marina speak English. Ruth had ample opportunity to teach Marina English, and yet, just like Oswald, Ruth insisted on talking to Marina in the Russian language in the privacy of their home --- where Oswald wasn't there to interfere. And so this doesn't seem right."

Both Paines were active in the Dallas chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. "And yet, when it came to obtaining counsel for Lee Harvey Oswald, Ruth didn't try very hard. And she was very annoyed that Oswald even had the audacity to ask her to call John Abt." There are no indications she actually tried to contact Abt on Oswald's behalf, Hewett said. "This doesn't seem to ring true to the civil libertarian that Ruth claims to be."

The most disturbing incongruity, in Hewett's view, had to do with Ruth's reaction to Oswald's murder. "We have this pious Quaker who, when interviewed by a journalist for Redbook magazine in the summer of 1964, told this journalist that she was glad that Ruby shot Oswald. She was glad that Oswald was dead --- these are exact quotes. And this journalist was just appalled that this very religious woman would say such a thing. Because even if Oswald had done the murder, this was a man who was deprived of his civil liberties, was not given the opportunity to have a trial or be defended by counsel. And there was this widow, and two little girls that Ruth was supposed to be attached to, and there was no offer of condolence. Ruth did not go to Oswald's funeral. Even Jackie Kennedy had the good graces to offer condolences to Marina Oswald."

I HAVE MY OWN REASONS FOR DISTRUSTING RUTH AND MICHAEL PAINE: LEE DID NOT TRUST THEM AND TOLD ME NEVER TO TRUST THEM. I REALIZE THAT BY SPEAKING OUT LIKE THIS, I MAKE ENEMIES, FOR RUTH PAINE IS ALIVE. FURTHERMORE, PEOPLE DO CHANGE. THEY MAY REGRET THEIR ACTIONS IN THE PAST. I,MYSELF, HAVE SOME CHILDREN WHO HAVE JUDGED ME FOR WHAT HAPPENED IN 1963, AND FOR LATER PRECIPITATING A DIVORCE (AFTER 24 YEARS) FROM THEIR FATHER.
IT IS NOT MY INTENTION TO PILLORY RUTH PAINE, BUT I DO NOTE SHE ESCAPED QUESTIONING BY NOT ONLY THE HSCA, BUT ALSO BY THE ARRB. WHY? THEY SAID SHE HAD BEEN QUESTIONED ENOUGH. HOWEVER, SO MUCH MORE NEW INFORMATION HAS EMERGED.
ONLY PEOPLE WHO SWALLOW THE OFFICIAL VERSION WHOLE, WITHOUT BLINKING, CAN BE UNAWARE THAT LEE HARVEY OSWALD WAS FRAMED, THAT HE WAS INNOCENT OF KENNEDY'S MURDER.

HENCE, TO READ THAT LEE OSWALD TOOK A RIFLE FROM PAINE'S GARAGE AND USED IT TO SHOOT KENNEDY --WRITEN IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 2010 -- IS PARTICULARLY DISHEARTENING AND INDICATIVE OF THE KIND OF ATMOSPHERE THAT EXISTS IN DALLAS AND NEARBY IRVING --THE SAME ATMOSPHERE THAT PROVOKED THE ARREST OF 'VENDORS' EARLIER THIS MONTH -- IMAGINE--THEY ARRESTED ROBERT GRODEN, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!--- CLAIMING THAT DEALEY PLAZA, OWNED BY THE CITY OF DALLAS, IS 'PRIVATE PROPERTY' WHERE OTHER VIEWPOINTS CANNOT BE LEGALLY OFFERED TO THE THOUSANDS WHO VISIT THERE YEARLY.
AS LONG AS DALLAS ARRESTS 'VENDORS' AND PROMOTES "OSWALD-DID-IT" FAIRY TALES SO BLATANTLY AND WITHOUT RESERVATION, I AM OBLIGED TO SPEAK UP.
AND SO ARE YOU.
YOU SAW THE LIST OF BOOKS THAT AREN'T SOLD AT THE SIXTH FLOOR MUSEUM.
TELL OTHERS ABOUT THEM. TELL OTHERS THAT PEOPLE SELLING THEM GET ARRESTED AT DEALEY PLAZA.
THE FICTION THAT OSWALD KILLED KENNEDY MUST BE LABELED AS FICTION EVERYWHERE IT RAISES ITS UGLY HEAD.
BELOW IS THE ARTICLE--IN BOLD FACE, I'VE NOTED THE MOST OFFENSIVE PASSAGES. I WRITE FROM EXILE. I CAN'T SEE MY LOVED ONES. IT'S GETTING TO ME, FRANKLY. BUT THE TRUTH IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MY FEELINGS. I WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK.
I HOPE YOU FEEL THE SAME WAY.
THIS 4TH OF JULY, DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR YOUR COUNTRY.
SPREAD THE TRUTH. OUR FREEDOM AND OUR FUTURES DEPEND ON IT.

Mayor Herbert Gears and wife Christina welcomed Ruth Paine to their home today

Ruth Paine speaks with a heavy heart when asked about the tragic events that touched her life when she lived in Irving. Her small home on West Fifth Street became tied to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Her warmth and friendship led to inviting a lonely Russian mother to stay with her. That mother turned out to be Marina Oswald, wife of Lee Harvey Oswald. It was from Ruth's house that fateful morning in 1963 that Lee Harvey took a rifle, headed downtown and shot the president.

Now, Irving hopes to turn her former home into a museum. Mayor Herbert Gears invited Ruth to his home today to hear the city's plans. Paul Gooch, director of Community Services, talked about the options the city is considering. One was to move the house to a park in the neighborhood to accommodate traffic.

Ruth said she was glad to donate the items she had to the city. "I'm not going to live forever and my children didn't seem interested," Ruth said about parting with now-historic items from that time.

Ruth made the trip to Irving along with her friend, Lou Falkenstein, to participate in a Juneteeth celebration Saturday that will honor the West Irving Improvement Association. The two women were very involved in that community during the 1960s.

Ruth now lives in California. She'll return home with a special memento--a key to Irving presented to her by the mayor.
